I've been getting "last day" notifications to save 40% on Twitter premium since October.
If that doesn't scream desperation, I don't know what does.

I haven't been active on BlueSky, but my earliest impressions were:
- The site had a nice clean feel to it.
- Barely anything improved (after a year, they finally added the ability to upload an animated GIF, by clicking on a separate (why?) button for uploading a video)
- Anything I said infosec-related received crickets chirping in response.
So alas, at least for now here I am. TBH, most important to me is a critical mass of audience/discussion related to infosec. There is no place in my heart for platform zealotry.

At least with iPhones, it's very easy to see where QR codes will go before you go there.
So telling people not to scan QR codes is sort of like telling them not to hover their computer mouse over a link to see where it goes. 😂

If Microsoft indeed "added it" with 24H2, it's still not ready to use.
e.g. you cannot choose ReFS at install time. Even if you do custom partitioning, you only get to control the size of the partition.
When you install Win11 24H2 (Or Server 2025), you get NTFS. Even if you add an additional disk, you get the choice between NTFS and FAT32. 🤷♂️

@screaminggoat @interpipes
Indeed.
There are ways to avoid being on the hook for updating the entry later. But they chose to create an entry that is guaranteed to be wrong unless it's modified at a later date. 🤷♂️

@interpipes @screaminggoat
Ah, good catch!
The github entry for CVE-2023-28461 was added on March 28 (11 days after the update was released), not last week.
The whole "Sorry, this diff is taking too long to generate." threw me off.

@screaminggoat
The CVE entry, written last week by MITRE, currently states: "a new Array AG release with the fix will be available soon."
The fix was released over 1.5 years ago.
A job done!

As I make a full clone of a VMware Workstation VM in just under 9 minutes, I'm reminded that the same thing would take about 1 second on macOS.
But hey, I hear the Windows peeps are working on cool things like software that scrapes your screen in the background as you use it. 😂

@buherator
I consider "real" in this case as in I can use it immediately, and anything I do with this VM clone is completely independent of the original. 😂
