I heard I should make an #introduction post here which is very charming.

I made a mastodon account a couple of years ago, didn't really do anything, trying again to escape the corporate dystopian social media hellscape to something more human. Some pertinent things about me.

- red diaper baby, both my grandpas were blacklisted

- DJ at WPRB in Princeton, my show is called Uneasy Listening. Currently Saturday nights 8-11 Eastern, currently freeform, usually themed, I play a lot of punk but also a lot of other stuff.

- since February 2024 I've been doing digital/tape comps and other fundraising stuff to support people trying to survive in Gaza. #6 is coming out soon.

- MRR shitworker

- I was in a band called The Dissidents until recently. We just put out a split LP with D.O.V.E. from LA on grow your own records. we're not a band anymore because....

- in July my amazing husband Bill, who was also our guitarist, died. He was also in The Pist, Mankind, Caustic Christ, Behind Enemy Lines, The Brood and a zillion other bands. He was the best and we were together 25 years. So I'm working through that horrible shit currently.

I don't really know if I'll be using this account for personal stuff or some/all of my different projects. Maybe I'll make more accounts? Who knows, I'm just feeling things out right now. All I know is I've been wanting to be part of building/supporting something different for countercultural and activist communication for years now and I need to start actually doing that.
