Russian military forces are fleeing Syria, taking ships and weapons with them, says Ukrainian intelligence

After militants captured Damascus, Russia began evacuating its base in Tartus. The frigate "Admiral Grigorovich" and the cargo ship *"Engineer Trubin" have left for the Mediterranean Sea.

Additionally, Russian forces are removing remaining weapons and equipment from the Khmeimim airbase, according to Ukrainian intelligence.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov denied reports of a withdrawal from Tartus, claiming instead that the movement was part of "exercises" in the Mediterranean.
