wow, it was 5 years ago today that the first person in Wuhan, China got sick with what we now know as covid-19, triggering catastrophic loss of life as well as what must be the largest and most ridiculous anti-science campaigns in human history.

@jerry some reporting that wastewater samples from October 2019 in northern Italy had covid19. Of course it was spring 2020 before they knew what to look for. So very hard hit there.
I am just unwinding from hosting 10 people at home for thanksgiving weekend …am still uneasy. Not sure I’ll ever be less so. Nevertheless, we persist.
