My husband's friend posted a photo of my books on LinkedIn. As a result, at least one person read The Way of the Wielder on KU. They loved the story so much, they bought paperback copies of BOTH books.
They also gave me some absolutely lovely feedback. And while it's not on Amazon or GR, it's still out there, living with the reader.
So when you're feeling down about your stories not having reviews, take heart in knowing that somewhere, someone loves your story silently. And that's beautiful. 💜
PS—I'm saying this as much for myself as anyone.
There are days when I feel like my books aren't seen, or days when I feel like a fraud. Those "silent reviews" are a reminder that my books *are* seen, that I'm *not* a fraud, and that people *do* love my work.
That's comforting to me, and I hope it's comforting to you, too.
